Can anyone recommend an English speaking guide for the Canada De la Virgin preferably someone we could meet on site given we have a car to drive there?

Many on this list know and would recommend Eric Miranda- mundomexico1@hotmail.com, 443-156-5183. He and his wife, Cristina, run Casa Espiritus in Marfil and he has a guide business. I went with him to the site you mention and he was great, more knowledgeable than many.
