Would you like to help 2 promising students at UPN (Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, located in Noria Alta) with their one month scholarship in Canada to learn English?

Sarahi Hernandez and Diana Hernandez have been awarded by the State of GTO the ENGLISH4GTO scholarship to study English in Toronto this summer. They are 2 students of the 40 that have been chosen, among the nearly 200 applicants.

Their state scholarship covers their transportation, visas and accommodations; however, they do not cover their food or any extras. (And as we know these costs in Toronto are much higher than here in GTO)

Along with her studies, Sarah, works at the Pastelería, next to Casa Cuatro, while, Diana is a volunteer fireman and works in a Mariachi! They are both studying to work in the Education field upon their graduation.

Hoping you can help these young women in this great opportunity they have been awarded. No amount is too small - 20mxp, 50mxp..... and anything is greatly appreciated and will go a long way for them.

If you would like to donate to them:

- send me an email kyee13@aol.com and I will give you the bank account of their family’s for you to make your donation (which can be done at their bank or at OXXO for a 10mxp charge)

- or I will provide you with the family contact directly for you to arrange the funds transfer.

- Or you can give your donation to me directly and I will forward to their parents.

For payments, I will alternate donations in equal amounts to each student, therefore, please let me know how much you would like to donate. (So that each get the same amount)
