Dear Colleen,

You would have totally enjoyed seeing the women at the shelter today when I rolled in with that HUGE bag of yarn you donated!

We picked out some go-together colors and raided our pantry at the shelter for some fringy stuff and other this and that to adorn and enhance some of the colors ? to change up some of the circles for those gorgeous scarf projects. There are 2 women hard at work now on them.

PLUS a young man got his own ?tabla? today along with a skein of your yarn to make a scarf for our upcoming (no date yet) sale ? AND there is another lady who is also onto a scarf with a tabla. She doesn?t know how to knit or crochet yet, but can whip out a scarf on that tabla board quickly.

They are all so energized with the opportunity to earn their ?own? money and learn new skills.
