large cast iron skillet

Try Mercado Libre? They seem to have everything. When we were here a couple years ago, I noticed that cast-iron wasn't readily accessible in town. We will be moving here in early June, and I'm packing all my cast iron. If I have an extra skillet, I'll let you know. Cheers

They DO have them--$60.00-70.00 USD. I saw them for $5.00 all the time at yard sales in USA. : (

I have found them on a buy / sell SMA Facebook page, but that was a while back. I have also seen cast iron for sale in an antique shop just outside Dolores, they have antique John Deere tractors outside the shop. I’ve only seen pieces for sale here near Dos Rios / Alhondiga on the street, the guys that sell tools, brass and copper stuff. I almost bought 8 cart iron platters in Dolores on our last trip, my wife brought me back into reality, I doubt I would have used them, but they were cool. It might take a road trip to find what you want.

Good cookware seems super hard to find. Lots of thin solid aluminum stuff however. Seems not as great of a concern in Mexico.
