Consulate Agency in SMA closed for renovations

The Consulate Agency in San Miguel de Allende will be closed from Feb 15 to March 11 for renovation. During that time, services will be provided at the US Embassy in CDMX or at the office in Guadalajara.

With regards to phone calls, the call center is now taking all calls but they still forward emergency calls, during office hours.

Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding U.S. and Mexican holidays. After-hours emergencies are handled by the Embassy Duty Officer.
