Chutney?
Anyone know where I could buy chutney in GTO? I used to buy it para llevar at the ex-Indian restaurant on Baratillo, but they're no longer cocina hindu. Ideas?

RE: Chutney?
Possibly the import aisle at La Comer? And maybe the store across for International Panaderia on Sangre de Christo? A small shop between the school and parking lot. I know they have some import items as well.

RE: Chutney?
I can't answer your question specifically and my response may contain undesirable song lyrics, but I have found a very wide range of items available at the Texas-based HEB store in Leon. (Worth a trip even if they don't have your product.) Take the Metropolatano or Primera Plus to the Leon bus station or if on the Metrapolitano get off on the corner at the leather store outlet before the bus turns right to the bus station and thus save yourself walking a couple of blocks (indicated by the majority of the patrons heading toward the front when well past the first popular Coscto/HomeDepot/SAMS stop). Walk across the street to the Optibus (double linked bus that travels in the center lanes) and take Linea #1 to the Lluvia exit. This will land you at HEB.
It's fun to shop at the acha-aye-bay, it's fun to shop at the acha-aye-bay. You can get yourself full, you can have a good meal! Yes it's fun to shop at the ...... (repeat). Sung to the tune of disco favorite "YMCA". http://sitiosweb.leon.gob.mx/PDM/mapa_troncales.pdf |
