Travel between Guadalajara & GTO

Once we fly into Guadalajara and come down to Chapalla, the 3 of us will want to get over to the GTO San Miguel area. Does anyone know how much 3 first class bus tickets will cost and if there is any cheaper way to travel back and forth that is at least as comfortable?

An advantage of ETN over Primera Plus is that you can buy tickets online using Paypal. (Neither ETN nor PP will accept foreign credit cards online, last time I checked.)

I'd bring my own snacks and an extra bottle of water. I think ETN may provide a sandwich consisting of a scientifically immeasurably thin piece of cheese and ham but Primera Plus is famous for most of the time a dry, raspberry simulated substance sandwiched between crackers.

Note, the bus companies of Mexico recently decided that having an animated experience on their website using all the bells and whistles that your browser may or may not support is more important than selling bus tickets, so try to hold your frustration, particularly when trying to find anything on the ETN site. Just keep trying and eventually it will accept the city name, especially if you are on a slower connection.

Enjoy the ride and take along a few tunes if you are not into B movies.

The Toll road is one of the best in Mexico making it a most comfortable trip.
