Amigos poinsettia fund raiser

Amigos de los Animales de Guanajuato is planning to sell poinsettias (nochebuenas) for delivery in early December to raise funds for our spay/neuter, rescue, and education activities. We are taking a poll of the ex-pat community to help us determine how many plants we should order from the vendor. These potted plants will be large plants and attractively wrapped for the December holidays. These plants can be transplanted to your gardens and will thrive in this climate. We plan to take prepaid orders and will deliver the plants to the buyers on or about December 5 or we will make them available for pick-up.

We would like to know:

(1) Whether you would be interested in buying any plants and, if so, approximately how many.

(2) Whether you would be willing to pay 80 mxp per plant (about 6.50 US).

(3) If not, how much you would be willing to pay per plant, bearing in mind that these will be large nochebuenas.

The proceeds of the sale will help us continue our program of rescue, sterilization, and public education. Many people returning to Guanajuato have commented that they have not seen nearly as many homeless street dogs as before. We feel this is due in part to our activities. Our sterilization expenses to date this year have been more than 25,000 mxp. We hope you will support this worthy cause.
