chickens

Does anyone keep chickens? I plan to move to GTO in September, if all goes well, and I'd love to bring my 7 hens. No idea where I'd find a coop, or someone to build one for me. I know people DO have chickens because I hear them crowing!

It must be the new in thing!
From our hillside view in La Presa we see two private homes with basic pen arrangement and the upscale Quinta de Las Acacias has twenty or more roaming away behind a wall from their guest areas.
The seed store in Yerbabuena sells all types of feeds and animal medications.

That's good to know. They are so much fun, and I love having fresh eggs--although my girls are getting on in years (some almost 9 years old) so the eggs have tapered off...
