There will be a benefit for Amigos de los Animales this Saturday at 6:00 at Caf? Zilch (in the Jard?n Uni?n, above Van Gogh). There will be a wonderful jazz band, a raffle for prizes, and a silent auction. Tickets are 300 pesos, or 250 pesos if bought in advance by Feb 17. Tickets are available at:

--Donkey Jote Bookstore at P?sitos No. 30
--El Midi Restaurant on Plazuela San Fernando
--and of course at the door on Saturday.
If you can't make it to Zilch, you can buy a raffle ticket at any of the above places for only 50 pesos.
The raffle prizes include great meals at local restaurants, hotel stays, massages, and more.
The silent auction will offer artwork, jewelry, clothing, and a variety of services. Details available at the locations above.
The benefit at Zilch looks truly fantastic, so come out and support Amigos de los Animales!

I'm new in town and I've heard that there's a group that meets regularly for breakfast on Sundays. Can anyone tell me how to find out more about this?

For info about the Sunday brunches or to get on the mailing list, contact Kay Curtis, kayckc@copper.net. The brunch on Sunday, February 21, will be at Los Santos in Marfil. Starts at 10:00.
