What a great restaurant!
After basking a bit in the sun yesterday at the Presa I strolled down the street to this gem of a place. At 2:30 I was their first customer of the day.
Ordered the beef Ribeye steak, a meat I seldom order in Mexico. It was superb, tender, succulent & cooked to perfection it had a tasty sauce & was topped with a finely chopped herb.
Served with new roasted potatoes & cherry tomatoes on a bed of lettuce I devoured all. It came with an appetizer of a slice tart green apple dusted with I thought to be paprika but was in fact something far better,
Served with a nice loaf of bread & along with a good Lemonade a most perfect meal.
With the peso to dollar rate today the entire meal including a 20 % tip was under $15 US. The service was attentive but not over whelming.
I can not wait for my bride to arrive to sample more of their menu. In fact I may not wait!
