Ticket locations for symphony concerts?

Are there locations in central GTO where a fellow can buy tickets the day of U of G Orquesta Sinfónica concerts instead of having to stand in line at the box office the evening of the performance?

The 'lines' are not that long, the weather is fine and UGTO has to be in session if the orchestra is performing.

Agree Bill. i never needed more than 5 minutes at the most to buy tickets.

1. Answering my own question, according to a fellow in line who bought his tickets on Tuesday, the box office at the side of the Juarez Teatro is where you buy them days before the concert.

2. The line to buy tickets for tonight's concert stretched from the ticketing office halfway down the steps of the Juarez. The line for ticketed patrons to get in went down the steps, and across the entire front of the the Iglesia de San Diego.

The joint was literally packed to the rafters. Good concert.

Aha, you asked a general question not a specific one. USOG's main venue is Teatro Princial not Juarez where it performs only on certain special occasions. Gone are the more provincial days of the GTO social calendar when there were just the Tuesday night movie then the Wednesday night movie [different locations] and the concert at the Juarez on Thursday [before the rift between the DIF and UGTO]. It was an ideal time allowing for long weekends [Fri-Mon] away from GTO if one desired.

I bought my tickets the day of the show at the University building on Alonso I think they open there ticket window at 10 am
