I will be arriving in Gto. this November 2010 for the winter and I'd like to organize a hiking club. If enough people were interested then maybe we'd be able to hire a bus to take us to various locations. It could be either weekly, bi-weekly or whatever best suited the need.

Yes, I would like to participate. Both Stephen Carew and I have topo maps for planning. Also, know guide with "Burro Blanco" tours for trips up in mountains.

HI, Thanks for your note. Sorry I am finding this site a wee bit difficult to figure out but at least it is generating some interest in a hiking club.
Once I arrive in Gto., I will contact you and Stphen Carew and others who have written, so hopefully we can meet in early Nov. to discuss a way of getting some regular dates for hiking as well as sponteneous walkabouts.

This is weird. Laura H has started to call me Coco and I wish I had realized that my name lent itself to that nickname 40 years ago. But Hikingcoco, I am not. Still...Colleen a.k.a.
