Friends-- Some of you know us and many don't, but we--Helena and Tom O'Connor--bought and renovated a large house and three apartments in Guanajuato about ten years ago. In 2008, we moved back to the US, then in 2014 moved to Athens, Greece to help care for Helena's aging mother.

We have rented out our house and apartments since then, the house mostly long-term and the apartments a mix of short- and long-term. We have struggled to find a property manager who is a good fit for our needs as long-distance owners. The woman we are currently working with had to move to Mexico City, so we are desperately in need of someone capable of doing the job in Guanajuato.

It is not a terribly demanding job most of the time, but does involve oversight of maintenance and repairs, promoting the house and apts for rental, ensuring that bills are paid, managing arrivals and departures of tenants, paying and overseeing the gardener, and other such duties.
