Where to buy furniture in Guanjuato?

We need a new sofa and chair for a casa we have been renting out for the past couple years. Starting next year we will be spending at least half the year in GTO, so we are looking for something of pretty good quality.

Can anyone recommend any furniture stores or fabricators in Guanajuato? In our wanderings, I don't remember seeing anything that struck me in any of our previous visits.

We are also open to going to Leon, SMA, Dolores, if need be.

Looking to Leon where number of outlets and variety of offerings will of course be far greater: Liverpool and Sears, more upscale think Macy's, but very good quality and variety. Sears delivers to GTO for 300 pesos, most reasonable.
Tamarindo, multiple locations, modern style, less expensive ala Rooms to Go or Ashley. On the highway toward Leon is a rattan only store with broad selection,pricey but open to offers.
Around Plaza Mayor area in northern end of Leon are also a number of other independent stores.

Marina expensive but quality

There is a high end furniture store in San Javier. I cannot remember the name (maybe someone here knows it). past Dos Rios and on your way up towards Soriana.

There is also a HUGE furniture store in Silao, right across from the bus station. exit the station, cross the street and turn left. It will be on your right hand side. You can't miss it. it goes on forever.

Varying degrees of quality. If they charge for delivery (I can't remember) it was negligable

There is a Coppel in town? They have some furniture, I think you can also get things from their online catalouge.

Otherwise I know Mega has some outdoor furniture and lots of shelving so depends on exactly what you want.

I don't know how much quality exists anymore, prices doesn't necessarily mean it will last a longer or shorter period of time.

There are several places to buy furniture in Plaza Pozuelos -- Muebles is a furniture store on the first floor, Ryes (I think) on the second floor, La Marina, Mega, and Famsa on the first floor. I can't speak to quality, but it looks like Muebles might have the best selection.

I forgot about them even though I walk past them all the time, there are lots of choice it all depends on what you want to spend and what you like, when I was looking for outdoor furniture lots of shops only had 1 or 2 options and I ended up with liking a Mega one even after home depot in leon, you just have to look around to find something that suits your place.

There is a wooden furniture store near Dos Rios Glorieta. If you are walking down alhondiga going towards Soriana, turn right at San Clemente (Glorieta) and it's straight ahead. We have bought lots of things there like tables, chairs and bed frames, but I do not know if they do upholstered items.
