RE: Introduction, a GTO video series, and a question
Here's my list of fun but totally not cultural activities:
There is a playground here that is newly constructed and looks good for kids - https://www.google.com.mx/maps/place/Pas...da80?hl=en There is a video game arcade a the back of the Garden, I haven't actually been in so can't assess whether it would be suitable for a 5yo La Presa as mentioned is a great stop, grass to play on close by and another one to walk through that is quite pretty There is a cinemex in Plaza pozuelos, you could watch a kids movie in spanish :) If you have a car (or are taking the bus) I would recommend this park in Leon - Parque Ecológico Explora - there are displays of cars, trucks, planes etc, you can't climb on them but I'm pretty sure there were playgrounds too and on the weekend there was a ´train´that you could ride around the lake - https://www.google.com.mx/maps/place/Exp...c9fe?hl=en My favourite is the Parque Metropolitana which has areas suitable for kids playgrounds and I'm pretty sure it's this one that has an area where you can ride a bike through a miniature town/stores, it's a massive park though especially with a child I would more lean towards the Parque Ecologico one. I wouldn't recommend the Bicentanario park for a 5 year old, there is a great natural history museum but not very interactive, I wanted more buttons to press!! I went on a Saturday and it was quite deserted, over priced food but cheap entry and some great exhibitions for adults. If she likes water there is splash park between guanajuato and leon, they are meant to get dolphins in for some season (summer maybe?) which I totally don't agree with so haven't been but when you are entertaining a 5 year old... Or their are other 'hot springs' parks which are more pools and water slides |
