Internet phone box - USA phone number here in MX

I will be returning to US soon and have this box for sale before I depart. It is a Grandstream HT701. (Just google it.). This device is unlocked and ready to use on any SIP provider. This is just like a Vonage box or Magic Jack (without having to leave you computer on to use it) but without forcing you to sign up for the recurring fees of these services (unless you want them, of course). Firm price for this box is $25US or Peso equiv.

The way this box works is like any other ATA device in that you plug the little box into one of the ports of your router and then plug your phone into the small phone jack. You get access to a US phone number at that point to make and receive calls here in MX just like you were in the US.

This is an unlocked device and can be programmed for any provider, including the expensive ones like Vonage if you are after that service. I have it currently programmed to CallCentric http://www.callcentric.com/?aid=71953 but it can be re-programmed to use any service you want. It is unlocked. I use CallCentric because they provide not only excellent quality voice but free incoming calls and outgoing calls are just 2 cents per minute to US/MX/Canada land/cell lines and 4 cents per minute to MX cell phones. No sign up fees and no recurring charges, you pay only for the calls you make. Plus they offer call blocking by wild-card or individual number and you can make anyone who pesters you receive "this number disconnected" message. A really handy feature, plus robocaler and other handy blocks for telemarketers.

Background: In case anyone has concern, this is not a hoax. I am a reputable person, have attended Gringo breakfast here and have references. I retired after 30 years with largest computer company in the world. Can design home networks and many other IT tasks. Hold Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer accreditation. So if needed I could program this device and install it for a propino if you are incapable of doing it yourself. The company I use for my own VOIP service also provides Canadian numbers but they run a monthly fee; for the price you'd have to look on their website - they provide numbers from many other countries also, including major metropolitan Mexico numbers.
