Recommendation for Clinic or Dr.
Have been here in GTO a short time. Have had this persistent cough. Is there a good doctor or clinic in GTO or Leon anyone can recommend?

You have what I call the "Guanajuato crud" caused (apparently) by dry air and the ever present polvo. Just go to one of the 2-buck docs that are attached to most of the pharmacies. They are licensed medical doctors, no appointment necessary, and a consultation is around 25-30 pesos. He/she will fix you right up. Meanwhile, try Brocolin cough drops to relieve the cough.

I've got what he calls Guanajuato crud but I've been hear 4 years and this is the first time. I don't put much credence in environmental causes for illness. You have an infection or a virus I'm guessing Virus because antibiotics did not fix it for me. Santa Fe farmacia at the bottom of plaza la paz is run buy a great doctor he is usually there in the afternoons after 1:30 he doesn't speak much English but if you can make yourself understood he is great at diagnosis and will sell you what you need at a fair to good price. My cough has not been very productive you need a good expectorant to break up the mucus.
