Hello Everyone--Greetings from a pair of newbies

My wife, Cat, and I will be arriving in our new home town of Guanajuato on June 20. I suspect over the next year of so I will be in town more than my wife, due to her work which will require her presence in our home state of Arizona more than will my job.

A little about ourselves. We live in Flagstaff, Arizona, another mountain-top community. I am a Software Engineer for a pretty large company, which I joined when it was little more than a startup--my office is in San Francisco, where I usually travel monthly. Cat is a Compliance Manager for a large hospital operation in Northern Arizona. I'm 53 and feeling it, she's 42 and will live to be 105. We have two large dogs which won't be making the trip with us right now (a Presa Canario and an English Mastiff). Oh yeah--five kids, one in high school, he'll be completing his education there in Flagstaff, one in college, and 3 grandchildren.

We have a place to stay for three weeks but will be looking almost immediately (when we're not at INM getting our paperwork done), for a house to rent--most likely for a year or more, until we find the right place to purchase. If anyone knows someone who has a reasonably nice place, we'd be interested, please let us know.

I hope to meet all of you on this forum both online and off in the very near future.
