Is it as cold as the Weather Channel says?
Been reading that temperatures have been down in the 30's with highs only mid 40's.
I see starting today it is getting better.
Hope all are coping

We've been so cold for the last 3 nights that we had to turn on the heaters, and still I slept badly. Some scientists are saying that the worlds' winter for this year may be the coldest ever. Again, today woke up to cold inside and out, then it warmed up after a few hours, but now, at almost 5 PM, it's overcast and getting somewhat cold again.

We track temp daily. Lows around 50f, lowest so far 46f, with highs varying from low 60s to 70 depending on cloud cover. Not frigid by any definition, at least so far.

40's and 50's are quite cold for GTO temps at this point in the year, more like the general temps in January and February here. Nothing like what parts of the US or Canada gets, or Toluca, but cold for here, nevertheless.

According to the Weather Underground calendar of current and historic temperatures in Guanajuato, our low temps this month have generally been higher than average. On only three days have the lows been lower than average. The temps on this calendar are in line with what jesm reports above.

I don't care what the "weather underground calendar" says, I've been here 10 years and both the average day and night temps have been much colder than normal, during all the past years I've been here.

My apologies for citing a respected weather website, Solomon. As long as you've presented your own personal estimate of how cold it is, I'll present mine: I've lived here for fifteen years, and this feels like a pretty average November to me.

And the past few days have been so cold that my fingers feel numb in the morning, even with the ceramic heater turned to the high position. Gosh Don, of course your "respectable" site has "accurate" info and I must be imagining how prematurely cold it's been.
