The hours at IMSS Cantador for arrangng an appt in Leon?

Even when you have all the paperwork from Clinica 50, you can't just show up anytime M-F.

What are the hrs for arranging an appt? and for arranging for transport coverage?

"Showing up anytime M-F" has worked for us. Anytime after, say, 9:00 a.m. ought to be fine. It's a while since we've done this, but I think you need to go to two separate booths: one to arrange the appointment, another to get your viáticos, or travel vouchers.

You may find that the appointment they give you is in the distant future. That's apparently because there is a limited quota for each León specialist of how many Guanajuato patients can be accepted each year. When we've run into this, we've ignored the official procedure and gone directly to IMSS León to make our appointments. We've then been told that we were doing it all wrong (we knew that), but after going from office to office all over the building in search of signatures and rubber-stamp seals, we've always succeeded in getting a reasonably timely appointment. Our local doctor has even advised that we do it this way, so long as we don't mention his name. He has further cautioned that this may not always work, so your mileage may vary.
