The trouble with HP is they gave a tiny amount of RAM to their products. I have the same problem on a desktop COMPAQ, only 1 gig of RAM, which doesn't run anything but Win Basic, and nothing else very well, especially videos, movies or games. Of course, a person could upgrade with add-on RAM, but why HP has to be so cheap about it, no wonder they aren't doing well now. If you upgraded the RAM to at least 4 gigs, I'd be much more interested.

The main computer chip in my present desktop, an Intell 4 chip, runs at 3.00 Gigahertz, which is very fast but has no RAM to support it. But that's HP products.

I don't know why this offer is coming up now, when it's dated back in March, so maybe it is now moot......quien sabes.
