Paseo project?
There is a sizable rehab project on going just above the Maria Christina hotel. It seems to involve the "gingerbread"/Swiss chalet building (former language school?) and two adjacent structures, so a lot of work. Anyone know what is happening? Government or private? Curious minds....

The neighborhood is improving - according to Roberto in the tienda next door the Maria Cristina is expanding by some 25-35 rooms
