My FIRST Mid-Summer Birthday
I was born on January 22, in New Mexico. I have always celebrated my birthday in mid winter. The high temperature in Guanajuato one year was in the high 60's, but usually it was cooler.
January 7th, we moved into a year long rental in Salinas - Santa Elena, Ecuador, for my husband Don's health. Therefore, next Wednesday is my first mid-summer birthday celebration. Our balcony looks out into the Pacific Ocean where every day visitors are playing in, and enjoying the summer surf. As the seasons are reversed below the equator, it will probably be 80 to 85 for the high on my first summer birthday. Isn't our world an amazing place? |
