Anyone Had an Apostille Done Here?

We are planning an academic sabbatical of one year in South America. I understand that having an apostille done on a certification that we have no criminal record in the USA or MX makes travel to a foreign country for more than 90 days more likely to have a Visa extension granted. Has anyone used a notary here to have that done for them?

Notarios/notaries do not do apostilles. Your queston is too vague. Not all countries are signatories of the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement for Legalization of Foreign Public Documents. You can find good info on apostille here
