Pat Yourself on the Back
Four months ago today, a grass fire took the 280 sq. ft. one bed, no bathroom, home for a family of six in Central Mexico. Today, because you cared $$, their new 880 sq. ft. home has a septic tank, two bedrooms, and a bath. The white donated bathroom tile was accented by $22 worth of dolphin tiles we thought the kids would love. The outside of the home is being stuccoed (a sign of wealth here). The security bars were designed yesterday on the metal (not burnable wooden) windows. The kitchen counter is going in. We are hopeful that before school starts on August 11, the six of them will move back in. Pat yourself on the back - Look what your compassion created. These kids and their grandkids will never forget your generosity.
