RE: US TV NOW
You get six channels free. ABC:CBS:NBC:FOX:CW: and PBS!!!!
I don't have a television set here, but hook my netbook up to a 22" monitor and use it that way. I will be returning to Ajijic this week and will be trying it to a television set.
I'm sure that with cables you should be able to hook it directly to a TV.
Other channels are available for between nineteen and twenty-nine dollars permonth.
I've been using the free subscription for about a year now. Try it. Gloria

RE: US TV NOW
Hi Gloria

Thanks for the info. I just signed up for the free trial and on my Telmex 3mb [usually 5] connection it is awesome. Your post got my interest as new Canadian legislation is now requiring Canadian originating payment for SHAW accounts - with USTVNow I think I'll be saving over $50 bucks a month - I'll report back on cable connection to TV - my internet comes in one place and my TV is in a bad location for WiFi.

On USTVNow I've tried HD [not so good] High nice but some skipping, Medium OK and Low problem free and display at Full Screen is acceptable

RE: US TV NOW
I like USTVNOW but for CNN and MSNBC US feeds you can use myrtv.eu. It is sometimes weird and cuts you off after maybe an hour. Then I go to zahipedia.info. But zahipedia has the CNN international feed so I can't watch Fareed Zacaria if I can't get it on myrtv on Sunday. There are many more stations on zahipedia. And sometimes myrtv adds channels. They had football playoffs last year. Sometimes I use the tv directory on ustvnow to find out what is playing on the channels I can watch on myrtv.

Enjoy!

Colleen,

1. Thanks for telling us about http://www.zahipedia.info/. This is the first I've heard of this one.

2. I use http://myrtv.eu/ quite a bit, and I haven't had the "getting cut off" problem that you have.

3. Here's a pretty reliable source specifically for MSNBC: http://www.livenewschat.tv/politics/. I've found it to be more reliable than myrtv.eu.
