Anyone wanting to see a small village event, Aztec Dancers, self-taught drummers, amazing horseback riding/racing, and great rural people: Sunday, January 20th is the date.

Rancho Cajones is near the Presa de la Prisema - the dam that is SE of GTO, GTO after the Glorita Santa Fe and beyond Pentecillias. Take a Pentecillias bus to the end of the straight main road in town. Get off at the curve toward Crevas and wait for a Cajones bus to take you the last two miles. The event is at the first stop in Cajones after the village of Cienega. It is in honor of The Virgin of Guadalupe and is located at a tiny church right off the main road. Just follow the fireworks and the drumming!
