at Embajadoras Park, continuing all the way to the Alhondiga where children will release balloons carrying letters to the Kings about the gifts they hope to receive tomorrow. See the Kings, allegorical floats and candy children scooping up candy along the way. A Guanajuato tradition. Last year I also saw balloons going up in Mexiamora

What a lovely tradition. The Parade was in full view from my roof top patio on the parade route/ Thanks for the heads up.
PS Last year I had a hotel room with a balcony over looking Plaza Grande in Patzcuaro for this same fete.
