Cristina and I just finished a 1 week class with Felipe and Mica making Titeres Gesticuladores (Gesticulating hand pupits). You've probably seen them in either the Casa de Artisanias or more recently for sale in the Jardin. They are made from blocks of foam. Lots of 'snipping' with sizzors!
Not being particularily gifted in the "craft" department, I had doubts about my ability to actually produce some thing worthwhile, but I surprised myself (with lots of coaching from Felipe and Mica)!
5 fun evenings spent with fun people!
These things make great Christmas gifts!
Not sure when they will offer this class again, but if you get the opportunity -- Take it!
