Discounted Books and Writers Reading

Next Wednesday, May 16 there will be another evening of writers who will be reading from their works, and the rest of us enjoying it. Both local writers and people passing through our beautiful city. Any genre as long as you wrote it: fiction, poetry, essay. Everyone has five minutes to read. In the past, writers have read both in English and Spanish. Some read from published works and from works in progress, even journals. There is usually a little bit of everything and an element of surprise. so come, bring friends, enjoy the evening.

This will take place from 7-9 PM at Donkey Jote bookstore, Positos #30 across from the Diego Rivera museum. We have a second entrance on Juan Valle behind the statue of Diego.

In addition to our evening of poetry and prose, the bookstore will offer a 20% discount on all books. Come early and take a look around for books written by local authors and other authors who have read their work at the store. From all the emails I have received, I believe that there are no conflicts next Wednesday with any concerts or other events. I hope to see you that evening.
