Attached is the name of my new Physical Therapist (Blanquita M?ndez - 473-737-5874). I have been to three sessions and have improved tremendously after being told by a Neurosurgeon that I would need neck Surgery.

She charges $300 pesos per hour and was formerly in charge of the SPA at the Hotel Mexico. She is now conveniently located in Plaza San Javier #21 (next to our offices "Visas y Pasaportes") where there is ample parking available.

I highly recommend her.

I have to say this woman is excellent. I have the same problem with degenerative disk disease in my neck I have gotten a lot of relief and it seems to be long lasting. It's like a massage but better.

I know this thread is a couple of years old. Does anyone know if Blanquita Mendez is still working as a Physical Therapist in Guanajuato? If so, where is her office? Do you know how much she charges per hour?

I'm looking for someone who can help me with my back discomfort - physical therapy, massage, etc.

Not sure what kind of back problems you have but I can make two recommendations:

1) Physical therapist: Her name is Claudia Vivas. She is based in leon but comes to GTO every Friday. Her office is in the Central Laurel (in the callejon between Plaza San Fernando y Plaza San Roque). I think she charges $550. Her phone number is 477-470-3598/3597. email: jafisio@hotmail.com

2) chiropracter: His name is Guillermo Chavez. He is not aggressive and actually a bit alternative. He is based here in GTO and his office is in Baratillo. he charges $450. Cell # 473-118-6541, Off# 473-732-0891

I have back issues myself and have been to both. I recommend both of them.
