New house project seeks antique wooden beams (large) and other old wooden elements. Could purchase old farmhouse, troje or other structure if known? Also looking for structurally sound but aged roof tile (tejas). Thanks

Not a lot of wood around GTO. I'd suggest looking in Dolores Hidalgo. Just past the glorieta when leaving DH toward SMA there is a good shop on the left [across from the Arrachera Rest and the FatMan's ribs] I was looking for some old mesquite so my carpenter could build a door. Turns out they could do the work for less than the cost of wood+my guy's labor. Continuing on to SMA there are a couple of places with old jalopies out front that have old wood -
