SIMAPAG's "non-rationing" rationing is off to a great start. The calendar says that here on San Juan de Dios, which is in Zona 1, we're supposed to have water today. We don't. Meanwhile, SIMAPAG isn't answering its phone.

Don: I think you have your utility companies mixed-up. If you are "shocked" you must be talking about electricity, not water!

Don, I'm shocked too - you are a Mexican and should have known --- Why not try calling them when its not a holiday? We have water at our end of the street [at 6pm - and the tinacos are full]

We also finally got water in late afternoon, Duck. Earlier in the day, however, not only our neighborhood but at least some parts of Centro (again, Zona 1) were without water as well.

So okay, let's assume all of SIMAPAG was busily praying to the V?rgen today and cut them some slack. Any bets on whether they'll stick to their own self-imposed schedule going forward?
