Western Union scam update
Here's the follow-up email from the family:
Dear Friends, A lovely little man from Nigeria hacked our e-mail and sent you all a distress message last night asking for money. PLEASE DON'T CALL OR SEND AN E-MAIL to the address in the e-mail, as it says"1928" and not "1982", so who knows what you'll get after that, except targeted. We are all happy and healthy, here in Illinois, and you'll here from us soon for Christmas! Thank you for our notifications of this scheme from our friends in the US, Europe and Mexico!!!
