Cervantino Tickets-Ticketmaster-Other Options?
I discovered last night that to attend a Cervantino ticketed event you have to get a Ticketmaster ticket at the window in the Teatro Juarez. Fine. Did that.
Then I thought it would be easier (no lines!) to set-up a Ticketmaster account and print my own tickets. When I specified that my place of residence was the US, it didn't like that because I am now in Mexico and they somehow knew I wasn't in the US. So, I said my place of residence Mexico and filled all that in. I wanted to use a Visa Card on the account, but the options there are only Banamex Visas. I choose one of those because that was the only option allowed for Visa Cards. The other credit cards were only Mexican ones also. Ticketmaster accepted this, but I doubt it will work once I actually try to buy some tickets. Does anyone have any advice about using Ticketmaster or does one just have to stand in line all day? Is there some other option for acquiring tickets? The Cervantino site is of no help (and generally, in my opinion, very non-user friendly). HELP!!! Thanks for your help. Ken MacDonald 731-2676 |
