I have a casita for rent.

The 2-story casita has a living room, kitchen, bath, fireplace, and a spacious bedroom with one double bed and one individual bed. Wi-Fi and twice-weekly maid service are included. Off-street, secure parking is available as are ample gardens.

The rate for two people is $275 USD per week; for one person, the rate is $250 USD per week. The casita is located in Santa Maria de Guido, a tenencia (suburb) of Morelia which predates Morelia and is situated on the southern ridge above the city. During the 19th C., the wealthy of Morelia had summer and weekend homes in Santa Maria; during the Cristero Rebellion, a lot of convents moved up here; after World War II, it became popular among artists, nearly all of whom have now died off. Now it's one of the ten most desirable neighborhoods, where politicians and bureaucrats live alongside poorer folk in a mixed neighborhood.

It is accessible to the Centro Historico by combi (collectivo), bus and taxi. A taxi will cost about $2.50 USD. We are two blocks from the plaza, grocery stores, cafes and taquerias are nearby, and there is a tianguis three times a week.
