Thank you for sharing that disturbing information. I've posted a number of threads urging ex-pats, in particular, to increase their security at all levels. The response I had from a few individuals on this list was not encouraging, to say the least.

Yes, it also affects Mexican nationals, but the criminal bands target the much richer foreigners......they know where the money, jewelry and other goodies will be concentrated.

Again, as violence and robbery will increase in MEXICO, due to increasing worldwide economic realities, we need to act beforehand, and increase all levels of security for ourselves, because it's VERY doubtful the police will do much, if anything.
