Sorry, Doyle, but it's completely illegal for you to sell your US-plated car in Mexico. Mexican law requires that you return it to the border. Anyone buying your car in Mexico would be unable to register it here and would have an illegal vehicle on his hands.
What you could do, if you find a buyer here, is accompany the buyer to the border, turn in your vehicle permit there, and then make the sale in Texas. The buyer could then drive the car back into Mexico and acquire his own permit. Don |
