WIFI INTERRUPTIONS?

I have been experiencing the same phenomenon too and not on WiFi but on an Ethernet cable connection to the modem. I had to constantly yank the cable out of my laptop and reset it to get the connection back. The cable was good and wasn't the problem. On the various WiFi connections around the property our guests were experiencing the same problem. On day I noticed in my WiFi manager that one of the access points was un-secured. The WEP protection had been removed and it wasn't done by me. A geeky neighbor had hacked into the system. It really wasn't too hard to do. The access point identified itself by brand name and through some Googling and a little trial and error to get its control panel IP address and using default user name and password [admin/admin in most cases] the neighbor went in and un-locked the box. I have since changed its codes and locked it to such a point the only way in now is a hard reset accomplished by inserting an unbent paper clip in the hole in the back of the box. Since doing this I have had no more problems.
