RE: New News On Water
I'm in Zone 2 and the water here, at least in Guijas hasn't been turned off at all this week. I can tell immediately because my kitchen and patio faucets come from direct lines from the street, so when SIMAPAG turns the water off and I open those faucets, there isn't a drop. My tinaco only supplies water to the bathroom, so unless we shower and flush the toilet 50 times a day, I never run out of water no matter what.
If everybody is careful about water consumption (recycle water from washing machines to flush toilets/clean patios, keep a bucket in the shower to collect water while you're waiting for it to get hot, turn the shower off while you're soaping up, etc.), you should be able to survive two days without water -- you just have to plan your laundry days carefully once you figure out if the calendar is correct! |
