air quality today - friday

I am still looking for a place in Mexico that doesn't have this random sweeping air pollution. And long term it seems as a rough guess that I have experienced it about once a week in San Miguel d A and about once a month in GTO. (Sort of the good news / bad news when someone says something is worse somewhere else). I suppose the terrain diverts more of it over the mountain here, where in SMdA it can only seep in and permeate. Still when you wake up with burning eyes and feel the burning in the throat and chest it's certainly quite uncomfortable and can even instill a bit of panic if you are in the direct path of burning cane, corn stalks, trash or any of the other multitudes that go up in flames around here. At least it generates some fond memories back home of the former EPA while issuing a reality check to anyone considering permanently relocating to a spot where it is an issue (or desperately seeking one where it is not).
