I was looking yesterday for small apartments in GTO for some friends coming down. They were interested in Marfil, centro or Valenciana. Try browsing the Vivanuncios online rentals. There are many reasonably-priced listings there. AND photos. Note: you have to do a lot of scrolling through to find city of Guanajuato listings because the listings are for the whole state. Up in the lefthand corner of each listing, it says the city name. However, sometimes it will say Guanajuato, but it's not always for the CITY of Guanajuato. Confirm by looking at the property description. Best of luck!
