Local orgs to support deportees?

Hi fellow GTO-listers,

Barry and I, part-time residents of Guanajuato, have been discussing practical steps we could take in view of the proposed deportation of millions of Mexicans from the US to Mexico. We understand many are from Guanajuato state.

Many will be traumatized. We can only imagine what they might go through (hiding, being arrested, put into detention camps, little or no representation, and finally trucked back). We wonder if there's any relief organization already in place in GTO arranging for their recovery and return to their homes and families after, in some cases, many years away.

Does anyone know of existing organizations that we could reach out to and support?
