Electrician Needed

I am looking for an electrician and would appreciate any recommendations that could be provided in Guanajuato.
? English speaking would be a big plus.
? Equivalent of a "licensed electrician", rather than "a contractor who can do electrical work", would be a big plus.
? Experience in the connection of gasoline backup generators to household electrical systems through the use of transfer switches, would be a big plus.
? Specifically: to connect a generator transfer switch to a main circuit breaker box.

I've found the forum invaluable too. The people have been very helpful. Excuse me all over the place for not knowing a good electrician. I do know a guy who calls himself an electrician, I also had dealings with someone who calls himself an appliance repairman - but I wouldn't recommend either of them to anyone.

We are just wrapping up construction of a new home here. Over the 5 year process of lot looking, buying stuff, seeking pros and cons on a large number of issues, this board has been a constant companion - always offering good information in an open and efficient manner. Sorry you have not had similar result.

This is the only GTO forum I use. The other one is just too unreliable. Their supposedly vetted resource section lists an Arquitecto who has been convicted of fraud in the Mexican courts! Anyone who pays the money can be listed as a resource.

I'll take my chances any day on personal recommendations from this forum and from friends, even though the referral may not come instantly.

J Anoni, you need to cultivate patience and leave your Type-A personality behind if you are going to have a good experience living in M?xico. Good luck with your project.
