going to need a king and matrimonial soon- all suggestions on where to purchase based on positive, personal experience are greatly appreciated.

We bought a king-size bed at Ideal in Silao (right off the highway), and were pleased with both the price and service. We compared prices with a few stores in Leon and Ideal was less expensive.

I bought a couple of mattresses a few years ago at a small store on Calle Alh?ndiga, near the Tamazuca tunnel, more or less across from the cop shop. Decent selection, good quality, good service.

I also can recommend the place on Alhondiga that Don suggested. I bought a queen and a matrimonial from them, plus the beds to put the mattresses on. Store is called Colchorama. They have standard U.S. brand mattresses, though made in M?xico. My guests have raved about the comfort of the mattresses.

We also went with a mattress from Ideal, the huge orange store right off the highway in Silao. We got a really nice natural bamboo matrimonial mattress for $3000. They often have sales.

Bought a super-comfy & ergonomic mattress on sale at Sears in Leon, they deliver. Brand "America", model "Healthy Plus". Best mattress I had.

I've also used Colchorama on Calle Alhondiga next to the tunnels in the last couple of years and been pleased with the price, quality and delivery service.
