I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP

I have a special problem. I live in Cuevas which is a rural area. Many of my neighbors are ignorant about animal sterilization. They have no idea what that means....so they resort to local custom: let dogs and cats have their litters, drown the kittens, let the male dogs run free, and drop the females off at any house where it looks like they may be taken care of. Ours is that house! In our ten years in Cuevas we have received well over 30 animals...all female. We have had them all sterilized and de-everything-ed, and managed to keep them all. We now have 23 such animals on our land, and love them all. BUT...I am now 78 years old (my wife says she's only 39, but don't believe her!) and any newly aqdopted critters will most certainly outlive us....and then what?
We are working closely with Amigos de los Animales to help educate the locals and sponsor a sterilization campaign in the near future. FOR THE MOMENT, however....someone has dropped off a very cute puppy, and...for the first time we MUST turn her down. I took her to vet Felipe Manriquez (really great, loving vet by the way), had her sterilized, bathed, de-flea-ed, de-parisited....and have officially put her up for adoption. This is where I need your help....please adopt her or suggest to an acquaintence that he/she adopt her. She is just over one month old and is very lonely and sad being in a cage at Felipe's.
