When I first came to Guanajuato to live full time (about 4 years ago), I knew very little Spanish, so I studied briefly at a local school. I had a great experience but didn't continue. After living here and being surrounded by Spanish every day, I have much more Spanish now, so I decided to take some classes to fill in the gaps and see if I could really master this beautiful language. I decided to enroll at www.la-adelita.org, located a few steps off Embajadores Park. I can't say enough about the program and teachers there - they are professional, extremely flexible, and take the students' needs seriously. If you've been here a while, maybe it's time to study again. I have found that the more I immerse myself in this beautiful language and culture, the experience of living in a foreign country becomes even richer.
