Amazon shipping - Mayra - 12-17-2010 Hello, I understand Amazon ships to M?xico and have questions for anyone who has used this service. 1- Can I have things shipped directly to my house in GTO's centro (and actually receive it)? 2- Or is it better to get a PO box? 3- Or do I need to ship to fedex in Leon, or DHL in GTO? In short, what is the best way to have something shipped from Amazon to Guanajuato. I appreciate any advice! RE: Amazon shipping - Heather - 12-17-2010 We have had no trouble having Amazon books shipped to our home address here in Guanajuato. In fact we have used Mexico Post for all mail and have been very happy with it. RE: Amazon shipping - raquelita - 12-24-2010 If you're thinking about ordering books, you might also want to check out www.betterworldbooks.com which has just started shipping internationally for free. Once I ordered a book from them that didn't arrive, but they refunded my money. BWB is a socially constructive business, recycles many used textbooks to developing countries. RE: Amazon shipping - doncoulter - 12-24-2010 Thanks for that link, Rochelle. I'd never heard of BWB. It looks great. Now, do you happen to know of any website that offers a decent selection of Spanish-language books, both new and used? I've looked and come up with nothing. Don |
