Nothing is as it seems, appears the rule of the day.
Before soy oil became so cheap there was some questionable risks eating the mystery fry fat that many Mexican street vendors used in the past. Not sure what they are using today but let's hope at least it's SAMS soy and not still the old stuff.
Also if you look at some of the milk sold in Mexico today (or perhaps the US, I haven't checked lately), vegetable oil is now a main ingredient (not soy milk but "oil") is part of the ingredients. One offender is "Gota Blanca".
